Batyr Akhmedov’s body shots help deliver an Argenis Mendez TKO
After 8RDs of combinations and punches to the body, and an injury to his right hand, Batyr Akhmedov picked apart his opponent to defeat him by TKO.
The 9-1-0 Akhmedov returns to the ring on August 20 to face Alberto Puello (20-0) for the vacant WBA Super Lightweight World Title on Showtime.
